About the School

Located in MEDGIDIA, CONSTANTA District – ROMANIA, a public educational institution for primary and secondary education, appreciated by students, parents, and the local community for the level of education it provides and the remarkable results it has achieved over the years.

The school has classrooms with teaching materials, computers and projectors, laboratories, specialized cabinets, a library, and spaces for cultural activities.

Our school has 40 teachers and 515 students, aged between 6 and 14. In addition to Romanian students, there are also Turks, Tatars, Macedonians, Gypsies, and Lipovans. Children from the areas (villages) surrounding our city who commute daily are also enrolled. The school is located in a working-class neighborhood on the outskirts of the city, economically and socially disadvantaged.

Because the family is the first educational environment for children, it is worth mentioning that the school constantly involves students and parents in activities carried out jointly with NGOs or other organizations with activities complementary to the topics addressed, with local authorities, and with the media.
